Cankarjev dom Reading Room

Venue: Conference room M1
(entrance from Erjavčeva Street, through Cankarjev dom’s Small Gallery)

The room is available to users requiring a quiet space for silent study, reading and reflection, and can accommodate up to 70 knowledge-seeking users. Please book your seat in advance via the online app: citalnica.cd-cc.si 

During the spring exam period, the Cankarjev dom Reading Room is open between 1 – 9 and 13  – 19 September.

General Terms and Conditions of the Reading Room
There are 70 study spaces in the Reading Room available for in-depth study. Pre-booking of seats is required via the CD Reading Room app (citalnica.cd-cc.si). The facility usage is free of charge.

The opening hours of the Cankarjev dom Reading Room are adapted to the space capacities of Cankarjev dom. In principle, study periods are divided into three-hour blocks. 

A study space can only be occupied by the user who has booked it. Upon entering the reading room, a user occupies one of the available seats and signs the attendance list available in the room.

No food is permitted in the reading room; water or soft drinks are only allowed in lidded containers.
It is necessary to maintain silence in the reading room. Please turn off the sound on your devices and refrain from phone or other conversations. Relocate if you need to talk.

In booking a seat, the user confirms that they will respect the rules and leave the room as it was on their arrival. If a user violates the rules, Cankarjev dom may terminate the user's account. Cankarjev dom reserves the right to ask anyone to leave who is disrupting the study atmosphere of the reading room or the work of study room users. By logging into the Reading Room booking system, the Reading Room user agrees to receive Cankarjev dom’s e-mail invite to sing up for Cankarjev dom’s newsletter.

Cankarjev dom is under video surveillance.
 
Cancellation Policy 
The facility usage is free of charge. To book a seat in the selected slot, please log into the booking system. The reading room user can cancel or reschedule their slot up to six hours in advance. Bookings are accepted until all the available places are filled.
