Slovenian Archaeology throught Sounds, Symbols and First Written Words
The exhibition is held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar.
Lucija Rosc (1995) is a visual artist whose practice combines a research-based approach with playful interpretation, drawing inspiration from childhood memories, family archives, and the environment in which she grew up. With the project Birthday Maypoles, she sheds light on rural traditions and places them in new contexts, highlighting the importance of community and the transmission of folk customs into the contemporary era.
The artist has held several solo exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad and has participated in numerous international group shows. Her works have been presented at contemporary photography fairs such as Unseen Amsterdam and Photo Basel, as well as at contemporary art fairs including Viennacontemporary and Art Salon Zürich.
Rosc is a recipient of the UL ALUO Prešeren Award, a nominee for the OHO Group Award (2024), and the winner of the PhMuseum Women Photographers Grant, an international award for contemporary women photographers.
