During the festive season in December, traffic tends to get heavily congested in Ljubljana. Visitors are advised to leave home earlier than usual to avoid arriving late.
Featuring the latest film releases, the Documentary Film Festival (FDF) brings a diversified insight into contemporary documentary film, an incisive and widely established art form whose focus on social and political issues penetrates all spheres of life.
As the only regular and long-standing event of its kind in Slovenia, the Festival has long pursued a clear and rigorous programming vision, including retrospectives and a human rights competition programme organised in cooperation with Amnesty International Slovenia.
