Photography Call for Applications

Photographers (self-employed professionals in the cultural sector, private entrepreneurs, and other individual practitioners) are invited to submit their projects for consideration in Cankarjev dom’s 2027 exhibition programme.

One (1) photography project will be selected for display in the Small Gallery of Cankarjev dom in 2027.

With this call for applications, we encourage submissions that include:
•    Photography exhibitions or individual photography projects,
•    Projects that are clearly structured and conceptually focused,
•    Projects that also explore the medium of photography on an experimental level (optional).
The exhibition theme is not predetermined, and the call is open to artists and photographers working with all types of content. Artists are invited to submit their projects together with a curator of their choice.

The deadline for applications is 26 April 2026.
