Arriving in good time
During the festive season in December, traffic tends to get heavily congested in Ljubljana. Visitors are advised to leave home earlier than usual to avoid arriving late.
Cankarjev dom exhibitions are open Monday through Saturday between 12.00 and 19.00. Sundays closed.
The CD Gallery and other exhibition areas can be accessed through the employee entrance from Prešernova Street (Council of Europe Park).
In compliance with the guidelines of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) on the gradual re-opening of museums, galleries and other exhibition areas visitors are required to observe the following instructions:
Only respiratory infection symptom-free visitors may enter Cankarjev dom. Please use a hand sanitizer before entering an exhibition area and observe the respiratory hygiene/cough etiquette.
Visitors are required to wear their own protective masks throughout the premises of Cankarjev dom.
The floor-marked trails, following the logical progression of exhibition whilst minimising contact among visitors, will take you on a tour of each exhibition.
In light of current circumstances, visitors are requested to strictly observe the rules prohibiting the touching of exhibits or other elements in exhibition areas.
Visitors may enter the exhibition areas individually, as families or in small groups (up to 3 persons).
It is strongly recommended that the admission and any other gallery shop items be paid cashlessly. It is not permitted to browse the gallery shop publications.
Until further notice, no guided tours will take place at Cankarjev dom.
Health comes first. Let’s stay apart so that we can soon get back together.
Thank you for your understanding!
