Water is a precious resource that should not be taken for granted, and careful water management is crucial for the future of our planet. An effective solution for saving water adopted by Cankarjev dom is the use of automatic faucets and toilet flushers. The sensor in touchless faucets sends the signal of motion to the valve to activate the faucet. It lets the valve know when it's time to stop the water based on the absence of movement. This cuts water consumptions and prevents unnecessary water drip while washing hands and significantly reduces the amount of water wasted. Toilet flushers are also crucial to saving water, as they reduce water consumption. All in addition to cutting down how often you touch certain surfaces – and your risk of catching an infection, which is especially important in public places. 

Tap water is a sustainable resource. Instead of bottled water, we make full use of our city’s exceptional advantage – safe and clean tap water. During breaks, event attendees are offered water as enjoyed by the locals, from the tap. Event participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles and top them up at the venue.
