Ara Malikian is a world-renowned Lebanese violinist with Armenian roots. A classically educated musician is an exceptional virtuoso who adds to his music the shades of folk traditions of various worlds such as flamenco, tango, gypsy music and elements that are typical of Jewish and Arab culture. Already in his youth he has won prestigious awards as a miracle boy, including the Niccolò Paganini Prize. Due to extraordinary talent, musicality and virtuosity, music critics even nicknamed him the new Paganini. He has 40 albums and hundreds of sold out concerts around the world. In 2019, the Royal Garage World Tour will go on a new tour of the world, where it will also perform in Slovenia for the first time. Malikian is characterized by very energetic live performances.
He is not only an excellent musician, but also an excellent interpreter who impresses the audience.
