Neurologist Prof. Dr. Zvezdan Pirtošek will address the confluence of art and the past, memory, forgetfulness and memory loss.
Memory is the privilege that shapes our perception of the world and gives us a sense of continuity, integrity, the Self. Memorizing and remembering are complex biological processes that involve obtaining, storing and retrieving information in different parts of the brain.

We would also like to draw your attention to the chamber opera Ko sem še, by Bojana Šaljić Podešva and Saška Rakef addressing the topic of a loved one afflicted with a progressive neurological disorder, dementia, turning into an empty shell.
