After a lapse of several years, one of the most prominent Slovenian novelists and accomplished wordsmith Vlado Žabot has published a new novel, Gral, composed in his distinct prose style. The award-winning author, known for masterfully blurring the boundaries between reality and fantasy, and employing elements of magical realism, constructs a story around a writer, shutting himself away in his living room to explore the causes and consequences of WWI.
