Deva Premal & Miten are at the very heart of the global growth phenomenon for more than twenty years. Their joint journey in love and creativity is mirrored in tours and concerts around the world and numerous albums that bring joy and relaxation to millions of people in the west while listening to and singing chants of Eastern meditation traditions. The ancient Sanskrit mantras also led to cyberspace where more than 200,000 people participated in their online mantra of meditation programs. Deva saw the light of the world at the time of her father's singing Gajatri Mantra, and this became her lullaby through childhood. Classical musical education was replaced by spiritual research. Miten grew up in London, surrounded by the sounds of Beatles in the 60s. He collaborated with Fleetwood Mac, Lou Reed, Ry Cooder. He left a successful rock musician career to discover the world of meditation. Together, they created a unique musical style by tuning Indian and Tibetan chants into the western musical framework, thus transferring the healing and transformative power of the mantra to the 21st century.
