The life of the legendary flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela, one of the most important reinventors of 20th-century flamenco guitar, blends family musical tradition – which in the Habichuela clan is handed down from one generation to the next – with artistic sensibility and great vision. The trying circumstances of his early life compelled Pepe to build a career for himself in music. Demonstrating prodigious talent, he soon rose to prominence as an artist and worked with the greatest names in flamenco and music at large. At the Bi flamenko Festival, Habichuela travels along the main stops in his career, remembering his predecessors in the company of his successors while directing his gaze towards the future.
