International Ballet Gala

An evening providing an outlet for the creative energy of standout ballet choreographies speaking the expressive language of movement: a real treat for both ballet connoisseurs and lovers, as well as those who rarely encounter this dance form. Internationally distinguished artists that regularly appear at prominent dance venues will perform solos and pas de deux from the historical treasury of ballet, including grand pas de deux from ballets Giselle, Swan Lake, The Talisman, Le Corsaire, Don Quixote, The Lady of the Camellias, as well as contemporary choreographies by leading choreographers such as John Neumaier, Edward Clug, Ricardo Amarante and Mário Radačovský.

Some of the biggest names in the international dance scene include Anna Tsygankova and Giorgi Potskhishvili, principal dancers at the Dutch National Ballet, Iana Salenko and Dinu Tamazlacaru, Ksenia Shevtsova and Jakob Feyferlik, principal dancers of the Bavarian State Ballet, as well as the brilliant dancers Zoltan Bence Ksezab and Akane Iichii. Special mention should be made of the Slovenian ballet artists pursuing an international career, Antoneta Turk (Ballet of the National Theatre Brno) and Jan Trninič (Estonian National Ballet).
