In recent decades, the composers’ muses have left more inspiration in our lands than virtually anywhere else. Slovenian musical creativity has become so diverse and expressively powerful that it could be the envy of the whole world. The lion’s share of the credit for this goes to two honorary members of the Slovenian Philharmonic, Lojze Lebič and Vinko Globokar, both of whom celebrate their 90th birthday in 2024. As a tribute to these distinguished artists, two composers of the younger generation, Nana Forte and Matej Bonin, will each contribute a new composition to the celebration.
