It has been more than two years since Patricija Avšič filled the Gallus Hall with a young audience on two consecutive nights with her brilliant performance of Henryk Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 1 alongside the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then, the aspiring musician has been living and performing in Vienna, where she is perfecting her violin playing in the class of the celebrated Boris Kuschnir. The Slovenian Philharmonic has been following her musical and personal development with great interest, especially in the years that are most important for the artistic growth of young people.
