Annually attended by more than 20,000 young listeners from all over Slovenia, the morning symphony concerts at CD’s Gallus Hall are their first live contact with a large orchestra. Music played in a superior acoustic environment is complemented by attractive stories and interesting narrative. Jeunesses Musicales Slovenia and Jeunesses Musicales Ljubljana have partnered in organising these cultural-education series, in cooperation with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. Matinees also constitute a most dynamic programme for conductors, young soloists, moderators and, of course, orchestra musicians, as eager young audiences call for a lively and intense concert interaction.
