A film investigating the role of Ivan Kramberger, “a good man from Negova”, and his influence on Slovenia’s declaration of independence.
Using the genre of a research dossier with added suspense, the film, a double portrait of Ivan Kramberger, son and father, looks into the influence of Ivan Kramberger (the father) on Slovenia’s independence processes. Conducting interviews and drawing on extensive archival materials for his master's thesis, Ivan Kramberger (the son) revisits his father’s role.
A combination of intimate insight and social analysis contributed by a wide array of interlocutors. The father was shot by an alleged assassin on 7 June 1992. The son was six years old. Today, he's searching for the truth about his father.
