Dancing Queen

After the phenomenal success of the 2022 tour, which sold more than 20,000 tickets in Slovenia alone, the music-symphonic spectacle Dancing Queen – ABBA Symphonic returns to mark a very special milestone – the 50th anniversary of Dancing Queen (1976–2026), the greatest hit of the legendary Swedish group ABBA.

The concert will also feature many other unforgettable songs that shaped the history of popular music – Mamma Mia, Waterloo, Take a Chance on Me, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Fernando, The Winner Takes It All, S.O.S. – all reimagined in a magnificent symphonic arrangement.

Between 1972 and 1982, ABBA, the most successful Swedish band of all time, conquered the global music scene and sold more than 400 million records, ranking among the top record-holders in the history of the music industry. The group’s members – Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad – first made history by winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with Waterloo. Their true international breakthrough came a year later with S.O.S., while Mamma Mia ultimately propelled them to the very top of the world charts.

During their ten years of creativity, they recorded eight original albums, all released in record-breaking numbers. To this day, ABBA remain synonymous with world-class pop music – their musical legacy lives on through countless tributes on television and radio, the globally successful stage musical Mamma Mia! and the hit film of the same name, proving that their popularity shows no sign of fading.
