After winning the conducting competition at the Paris Philharmonic, Maestra Mojca Lavrenčič will debut in the Philharmonic Classics subscription series in the Beethoven Year with the sentimental Pastoral Symphony, a work that is inextricably linked to the Philharmonic Society, the predecessor of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra. She will be joined by the exceptional violinist Alexandra Conunova in a performance of Bruch’s First Violin Concerto, while they will be welcomed on stage by Fanny Hensel’s Overture in C major.
