The exuberance of Danilo Švara’s Valse interrompue joins hands with the gallant virtuosity of a work much loved by cellists.  What can we write about the celebrated Leningrad Symphony? It is a symbol of the musical rebellion of the inhabitants of besieged Leningrad, which soon reverberated throughout Europe and with which we round off the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra’s subscription season.
