Bojan Gorišek and Milko Lazar formed a piano duo in 2004. Throughout their musical partnership, the pianists have toured the US, Europe and Slovenia. Their repertoire comprises works for two pianos by composers Philip Glass, Maurice Ravel, Erik Satie and Milko Lazar. The concert marking the twentieth anniversary of their partnership presents an exclusive adaptation of Philip Glass’s Symphony No. 4 – "Heroes". Written for a symphony orchestra in 1996, it is based on the eponymous recording released by David Bowie and Brian Eno in their Berlin period (1977). Milko Lazar wrote the arrangement for two pianos, which here receives its world premiere. Glass's six-movement symphonic work, subtitled Symphonic Ballet, was originally created for the ballet Heroes by American choreographer Twyle Tharp. The world concert premiere took place several years later. 

Milko Lazar wrote Pret-a-porter Variations for two pianos in 2007 as a ballet score for Pret-a-porter by choreographer Edward Clug, which was their first joint project. The ballet received its premiere in 2008 at the Slovene National Theatre SNG Maribor, where music for two pianos was performed live. The composition was given its concert premiere a few years later.
